Mexico City’s iconic Foro Sol is ready for the biggest global motorsport event starting today and over the weekend for Race Of Champions (ROC) 2019.
At the center stage, will be legendary names from series including Formula 1, IndyCar, NASCAR, Le Mans and Rally X to test their skills at ROC’s all-new pursuit track.
Mexican national and F1 driver Esteban Gutierrez said yesterday, “I’m very excited and grateful to be having the Race Of Champions in Mexico, and especially proud to represent Team Mexico in tomorrow’s ROC Nations Cup.”
Followed by Red Bull Racing’s Formula 1 star Pierre Gasly that added, “I’ve been watching the Race Of Champions since I was a kid so it’s a great pleasure to be here.”
Racing action would be on the way today for ROC Nations Cup at 1pm to 4pm local time in Mexico (11pm to 2am +1 HKG time) followed by Sunday’s individual Race Of Champions to be raced exactly at the same timeframe.
For the 2019 edition of ROC, drivers will race a range of stunning vehicles including the VUHL 05 ROC Edition 2019, Ariel Atom Cup, Stadium Super Truck, RX Supercar Lite, Speed SXS UTV, KTM X-Bow and ROC Car.
The event will be broadcast LIVE on a range of TV channels all over the world. Territories without a live broadcaster can watch the live stream on ROC’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
