The 2018 Asian series of the FIA Formula 3 Championship is about to kick-off at Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, next week with two days (July 9 and 10) dedicated to the preseason tests.
With the new F3 regulations into force and new cars to race, the season looks promising presenting also a few new names to the grid including Macau's Charles Leong, doing its debut in the series under the Silverstone-based HitechGP team.
The 2018 Season Calendar is composed of a total of 15 races (3 per event) and will officially start in Malaysia at the same Sepang Circuit on the weekend on July 13-15 for the round 1.
From there the Asian F3 moves to China's Ningbo International Speedway for races 4-6 to be raced on September 1 and 2, before visits Shanghai International Circuit of September 21-23.
The Shanghai event will be the hump of the season before the championship heads back to where it started, returning to Ningbo for its second visit in Mid-October and ending on the season finale to be hosted once again at Sepang on November 23-25.
